It is hard for me to put in to words how I feel about Lora. When I was initially interviewing midwives, Lora was the only midwife who scheduled an in person consult. I would not fault the others I considered for doing virtual consults, but it was extra meaningful to meet her in person.
Lora is awesome!! Lora is dedicated to her work and is excellent at what she does. She has the demeanor that you want in a birth attendant. She was soft and calm but also confident, which helped me to feel relaxed and safe throughout my labor and birth.
After one fairly routine hospital birth, I wanted a more natural experience for the birth of my second child. After my consultation with Lora, I felt confident that a home birth under her care was both the most natural and safest option for delivery. Lora is a leader.
Lora was such a blessing to me for both of my daughters’ births. For my first, she was the secondary midwife, but I honestly felt so at peace with her presence there despite her not being the main midwife I had seen during my pregnancy.
