Where to find Omaha Birth and Babies
What parents say
When we found out we were expecting our first child, we were thrilled to become parents! But when it came to the unfamiliar territory of labor and delivery, we felt a bit less confident. That’s why we’re so grateful we signed up for childbirth education classes.
I had such an amazing birth experience with Jessie and Omaha birth and babies! I wanted an unmedicated birth and unfortunately had to have an induction. We did planning and meeting before the birth to solidify my preferences for the birth of my first baby.
My husband, Tristan, and I highly recommend OBB! As first‑time parents, having their guidance made such a difference. Their monthly classes were incredibly informative and helped us feel prepared for the birth of our son. Most importantly, I can’t say enough good things about their doula services.
My birth experience would not have been the same without my OBB doula, Erin! She was the perfect coach & additional support partner. She spent time getting to know me, educating me on options and advocating for me when the time came. I am so grateful to have had her in my corner during this huge moment in my life.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Omaha Birth and Babies a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as pregnancy care center, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Omaha Birth and Babies offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Omaha Birth and Babies. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Omaha Birth and Babies accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (402) 237-8767 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
