Where to find Partners In Obstetrics and Women's Health
What parents say
I've been seeing Dr. Ka for close to 20 years now and she's always been absolutely wonderful. My health has thankfully always been pretty uneventful. During my regular checkup last fall, I mentioned I was feeling a few twinges on my lower left side occasionally. Dr.
So far the best doctor I've ever seen. Dr. Kaa and her nurse practitioner Robin are both compassionate, understanding and do not force things upon you like other doctors would. They make me very at ease during this pregnancy so far. Always answer all my questions and do not rush you.
I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Pierre. As a first-time mom, I had plenty of questions and nerves, but she made me feel completely comfortable from the start. She answered all of my questions directly and with care, which really put me at ease.
I have been a Patient of Dr. G. Pierre and Julia Bania, APN for years! They are very personable and they take their time. I feel like family to them, you don’t feel like a number at Partners and OBGYN. They are seriously the best!! Even the front staff is awesome, Lucy is my favorite!
Frequently asked questions
- Is Partners In Obstetrics and Women's Health a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as women's health clinic and gynecologist, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.

- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Partners In Obstetrics and Women's Health. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Partners In Obstetrics and Women's Health accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (815) 463-3000 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
