Where to find PCC Birth Center
What parents say
Such an AMAZING experience with PCC Birth Center. Just had my second little guy at this facility, and even though it was a challenging birth, I wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with any other facility. The midwives are kind, patient, and knowledgeable.
I gave birth here four years ago & I STILL recommend this birthing center to everyone I know. The midwives are absolutely amazing, respected all of my choices during my labor, & helped me every step of the way.
Gave birth to my son here and I had the best experience ever. It still feels as if it can’t be that a birth can be that perfect. 💕
I have birth here 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience and the midwives were very experienced. This was my second birth.
Frequently asked questions
- Is PCC Birth Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- PCC Birth Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask PCC Birth Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does PCC Birth Center offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does PCC Birth Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (708) 386-0845 or use the website link above, or schedule a tour directly with the button above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
