Sam was an amazing resource and presence at delivery. We wondered if we really needed a doula, especially when we found out son was breech and we might end up in a c section.
I received Samantha's contact via local mom groups. I was looking for someone who did placenta encapsulation. We communicated via texts and emails. I did have to ask her for a guideline and what was needed from my end, when I didn't receive an update after paying for services.
I really struggled to decide on whether or not to have a Doula, and all I can say is I am SO happy I did. Sam was an integral part of my pregnancy and labor! She was informative, flexible, comforting and confident.
