This review is one year late, because I just couldn’t find the right words to write the most perfect review for this wonderful organization, which helped deliver our baby girl Noelani, who has given us so much joy.
I had such a positive experience here. Both of the midwives treated me with so much care and respect throughout my entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. I felt like I could ask any question no matter how insignificant and it would be met with a sincere and thoughtful answer.
Working with the midwives at SHM throughout two pregnancies (and a miscarriage) was the best care I have ever received for anything, ever, period. My first experience with SHM was about 8 years ago (2019), when my son was born, and more recently we had a daughter with them as well (2023)- both were home births.
This is my second pregnancy and birth with SHMS, and I have to remind myself that wanting to see Brooks and Heather regularly again isn't a good enough (sole) reason to get pregnant a 3rd time ;) SHMS is professional, experienced, caring, family oriented, and in a wonderful cozy location that makes you feel the…
