For as long as I can remember, I've known I wanted to pursue home birth when I had children. Finding myself pregnant with my first child just as the world shut down for the pandemic in March 2020, it was a blessing to find Shifrah's Sisters shortly after.
I am so grateful for Shifrah’s Sisters, Elizabeth, and her team. When my previous midwife was unavailable during my expected birth month, I interviewed a couple of midwives before deciding, and I am so thankful I found Elizabeth.
When I had my first baby, I already knew going to the hospital wasn't for me unless there was a complication that required it. I was so grateful to deliver under the guidance of Liz and her team. I felt so empowered during the entire process and I was grateful that my husband was actively included from the beginning.
Shifrah's Sisters was recommended to me by my doula and Elizabeth did not disappoint. She is very caring and knowledgeable. I was very nervous about having a home birth for my first child, but Elizabeth helped to ease my (and my partners) fears.
