Where to find St. Charles Family Birth Center - Bend
What parents say
I had the most amazing birth experience at St Charles. I originally wanted a home birth to avoid ‘medical intervention’. But I would choose this birthing center over being at home again and again.
The idea of giving birth in a hospital always terrified me but the girls at the birthing center made us feel at home. I was in active labor for 52 hours, 32 of those hours trying to give birth naturally but my water broke which made my birth plan non existent.
What a wonderful experience! R/Ns we're super dialed in made us feel very comfortable and valued. Dr. Howell and Dr. Gage were amazing and everyone in NICU although we hardly delt with them were super warm. Jan at the front desk was NOT however.
Every single person my husband and I met during our four day stay at the family birthing center was absolutely amazing. Everyone...the nurses, lactation consultants, anesthesiologist, doctors were so attentive, kind, caring. We could not have found a better place to deliver our son and I’m forever grateful.
