What parents say
I started seeing Megan November 2023 and gave birth in July 2024. This was our second home birth with a midwife, but my first birth with Megan and what an amazing experience we had with her! She made me feel like a VIP (very important patient).
I cannot say enough good things about Megan!! She was an absolute Godsend during my home birth. From the very beginning, she brought such a calm, reassuring presence that instantly put me at ease.
My wife and I contracted Megan to be our midwife for our second home birth. She was very kind, gentle and understanding towards my wife, addressed all our concerns (we did not have a great experience with our previous midwife), and put us at ease.
Everything about my pregnancy and birth experience with Megan was ideal. She was easy to talk to, always went above and beyond to provide me with answers and resources for any questions I had, and gave me many options for how I wanted to do things.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Sun Valley Birth & Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Sun Valley Birth & Wellness is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. - Does Sun Valley Birth & Wellness offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Sun Valley Birth & Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (480) 608-3444 or use the website link above, or schedule a tour directly with the button above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
