Where to find Taproot Community Midwifery
What parents say
Meg delivered my second baby boy in October 2024. There are not enough stars to express how grateful I am to have had Meg as our midwife. From our first call, she answered every question with transparency and kindness.
Being a ftm I was nervous on who I could trust. Planning everything out we decided to go with Meg. In the time we spent with her we were able to meet several other midwifes or soon to be midwifes that were apsolutly amazing.
Truly the best midwife I could possibly imagine. I can’t speak highly enough of Meg. She has delivered 2 of my babies, with both deliveries being very different. She has the most calming, reassuring aura about her, which was so welcome during the vulnerability of pregnancy and birth.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Taproot Community Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Taproot Community Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Taproot Community Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Taproot Community Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (971) 409-9494 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
