Jamaa Birth Village is truly the place to go when you need someone who is relatable, skilled, and knowledgeable about women’s health and care. I recently completed my doula training here and I can’t express how amazing the experience was! Okunsola is a phenomenal woman that’s gifted and passionate.
Jamaa birthing village is IT! I absolutely LOVE this sacred space! Full of high vibrations, deep understanding and compassion for women and their health! I took a Doula training course with Mrs.Okunsola, and she doesn’t know this but she has adopted a new daughter!
I was recently granted the wonderful opportunity to attend Jamaa Birth Village's Community Doula training, and I cannot even begin to express just how in awe I am of the warm, welcoming environment Okunsola M. Amadou has created at Jamaa Birth Village.
I love the whole experience overall and being around women who share the same interests on why they becoming a doula. The whole time I was there I felt at peace and free to be myself also being surrounded by fellow women of color was a big thing for myself while searching for places for doula training.
