Where to find The Natural Birth Place
What parents say
I had a 12lb baby naturally and without tearing at The Natural Birth Place. My baby and I were so incredibly healthy thanks to these women. The care I received was beyond anything I expected. They monitored me and my son constantly with such gentle care and consideration.
I am so grateful for The Natural Birth Place, Maria and her team! We have Kaiser insurance but they don’t cover an out of hospital birth, which is truly crazy, but the care I got and continue to get with Maria and her team of incredibly sweet midwives has been well beyond anything Kaiser would consider care.
100% recommend! They gave me the birth experience I had hoped for and exceeded my expectations of prenatal & post natal care. Never felt like a ‘patient’ and only ever a person throughout my whole time with them. I not once had a negative experience and always looked forward to my appointments.
Maria and the team at The Natural Birth Place are consistently amazing! Gladys goes out of her way to take care of anything insurance and paperwork related, and the (student) midwives are very personable and knowledgeable!
Frequently asked questions
- Is The Natural Birth Place a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- The Natural Birth Place is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask The Natural Birth Place about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does The Natural Birth Place offer water birth?
- Water birth or birthing tubs come up in their public listing or reviews. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does The Natural Birth Place accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (909) 567-2165 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
