Kristen was my midwife for my firstborn. We had a great connection throughout my pregnancy. I felt that she walked a great line of alternative medicine and western medicine. (Or hippy v. science as my husband likes to say) She was always quick to respond when I needed advice.
Kristen is seriously the best midwife in Portland - possibility all of Oregon!! I truly believe a great deal of why my pregnancy and peaceful homebirth happened is because of her. I hired her for my third baby and second VBAC.
Kristen and Emily are incredible. I was unhappy with my current midwives and already late in my pregnancy when I found Kristen, and I am so glad I made the decision to switch to Tiny Love Midwifery. Kristen is extremely knowledgeable and capable.
From our first conversation/visit with Kristen, we knew we wanted her to be our midwife. I went from being terrified of giving birth to excited about the process. Kristen is patient, kind, funny and knowledgable. Our visits with her were reassuring and I always left feeling knowledgable about my pregnancy.
