This was a second home birth for our family and of course we wanted Tori to be our midwife again for round two! Haha I have 3 kids my first was born in a hospital, induction, Pitocin, epidural and the whole nine haha (nothing wrong with that!
I’m grateful to Tori for the role she played in each of my two home births! She helped manage my bleeding after my first home birth and at my second home birth, she filled in for my doula who was sick. She also fulfilled part of the midwife role at my second home birth.
I had an amazing experience with Tori as my midwife. After a traumatic first hospital birth, and a second birth where I felt pressured into interventions, a homebirth was what I needed for my third. After my first appointment, I felt so comfortable and relieved that I would have the birth experience I wanted!
Tori was my doula for my second birth. She was extremely kind, helpful and a wealth of knowledge. While it was my second baby, I was looking for someone who would help me develop a birth plan, understand all my options and be there with me every step of the way. She was that and so much more.
