Where to find Transformative Birth Midwifery
What parents say
Getting pregnant/having a baby during a pandemic can be stressful. Constantly changing hospital policies and the unknowns that come along with that made me doubt I could have the birth I wanted in a hospital setting.
I knew I wanted to have a home birth for my third baby but did not know what went into it or how to go about it. My husband was pretty reluctant at first since it was going to be our first home birth.
Loved our experience, we felt safe, cared for, and heard through out our whole experience. Christina and Kristen provided great care, were very knowledgeable, and made pregnancy all the way up to (and past) postpartum a comfortable and safe process.
I cant say enough about my home birth experience with Christina. From the first time meeting her I knew she was a perfect fit for us. She was so warm, caring, and personable and that carried through our whole time together as we prepared for this birth.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Transformative Birth Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife and reiki therapist, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Transformative Birth Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Transformative Birth Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Transformative Birth Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (951) 233-1059 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
