Where to find UCLA Health BirthPlace Westwood
What parents say
Like many first time moms, I felt an enormous amount of anxiety over where and how I wold give birth. For months, I went back and forth on whether i wanted to give birth at home or in a hospital. I interviewed doctors, midwives, doulas, etc., and spent a good amount of time exploring various options.
The entire staff during my stay went above and beyond to ensure I had the best care. My night nurse, Melissa, was incredibly patient and thorough when I was admitted during labor, attending to my every need with genuine care. My day shift nurse, Stephanie R.
I delivered my babygirl 10/28/23 and my experience was amazing . The nurses, doctors and staff were kind , understanding and met my every need. They made sure my baby and I were comfortable during our stay. Nurse Lizz and Becky were amazing ! This was my 3rd baby and by far my best experience at any hospital.
I just had my daughter at The Birthplace in Westwood a few weeks ago and my whole experience exceeded my expectations. From the entire staff, to the amazing cafeteria food (yes their food is amazing!) to the state of the art technology, I felt at ease and in such good hands it helped ease my nerves as a first time mom.
