What parents say
I would recommend Shands for anyone having a little one😊 I recently had a scheduled induction. The induction night was scheduled and the procedure for me was to wait for a phone call that afternoon for the exact time to come in that night. I got a call that afternoon with a time frame to show up which was nice.
We just had our baby here this week. If we are only reviewing themedical care, we would absolutely give them million stars. The labor and delivery nurse was amazing , the nurses on the floor were great, the Pediatrics team was fantastic, and the obstetric team was very supportive.
I just gave birth via cesarean on 11/4 and my experience was wonderful. During my pre op preparation each and every nurse/doctor was extremely nice and thorough with explaining every step and detail to me. The anesthesiologist was amazing as well. Labor and delivery staff were ALL amazing.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about the labor and delivery team. I had to have an emergency C-section. After starting my induction, my water broke and my baby’s heart rate kept dropping during contractions. They decided the best option was to go for a C-section.
