Where Vida Birthing Services works
What parents say
I have always heard great things about placenta encapsulation and decided to finally try it with my 3rd baby. The possible benefits sounded like something that would truly help a tired mom of 3 out let alone possibly help with those postpartum anxious feelings.
We had our baby girl in December 2020. After researching and contacting a couple of placenta encapsulation services; we decided to use Vida Birthing Services. 😊 Jess is extremely passionate about what she does. She was very caring, attentive and willing to educate/ answer any questions.
My experience with Jessica has been great definitely so worth it. I contacted her at week 37 with a few questions, she was professional and and answered all my questions. I was so lucky i was to do my deposit and booked her for my due date.
I was very interested in getting my placenta incapsulated because of all of the benefits!! I researched different places and decided to go with Jess because she is super nice, professional and responded to any questions I had in a timely manner. Jess met me in person to go over the contract and review the paperwork.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Vida Birthing Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Vida Birthing Services is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Vida Birthing Services about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Vida Birthing Services offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Vida Birthing Services. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Vida Birthing Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- Where does Vida Birthing Services work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Upland, California — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (909) 542-8444 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
