What this center offers
“Post labor did a great job in providing training in lactation, how to swaddle the baby, and any other questions we had.”
“The birthing tub was amazing for helping with contraction pain but when that wasnt enough, I had a really good epidural that made the remaining 12 hours of my labor so much better.”

What parents say
I had a wonderful experience delivering at Wakemed Cary. It was a very hectic time as it seems everyone was delivering their babies at the same time. I delivered on the morning of 9/26 and began my induction on 9/24. Due to the patient load, I saw many nurses. All of the nurses were so nice and helpful.
This is my second pregnancy delivering at WakeMed, and once again it was a wonderful experience. I had an incredible team caring for me, from the doctors and nurses to the specialists. Everyone truly cared about their patients and was always willing to help in any way possible.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you who took such wonderful care of us during the birth of our baby. From the moment we arrived, we felt supported, respected, and truly cared for.
Wakemed Women's Pavillion and Birthplace was an amazing place, in my opinion, to give birth...especially for the first time. The medical staff helped me to feel comfortable. They were kind, respectful, and I didn't feel judged.
