What parents say
Five stars aren't NEARLY enough to properly rate my experience with the Jens! They are actual angels on earth. This past spring they took me on as a client when I was 36 weeks pregnant in the middle of the COVID quarantine. Switching to them was the BEST decision I have ever made.
Jen was my midwife for my youngest baby last summer. She was amazing from the supportive and convenient pre-natal visits in my home to being available to answer questions at any time by phone, text, email or even facebook! She was awesome during the labor and delivery.
Jennifer was my midwife for the birth of my daughter Lucy this last November and I could not be more pleased with the care that I received from her. She is gentle, intuitive and so skilled at what she does. I would highly recommend her if you are considering a home birth.
I had my third baby with this group and it was the best experience by far compared to my other births. These women know what’s up when it comes to care for women.
Frequently asked questions

- Does West Michigan Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (616) 263-1978 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
