Where Wildflower Birth and Wellness works
What parents say
My experience with Wildflower Birth and Wellness was nothing short of exceptional! After having my first child in hospital I knew I wanted and deserved a better experience, so when I became pregnant with my second child I started researching home births.
Sarah is so amazing! Her knowledge and expertise allowed me to have the birthing experience of my dreams. It was so different from my previous two hospital births, and even the recovery afterwards was so much easier.
I’ve had Sarah as birth support through both of my children and I wouldn’t want it any other way ♥️ She is down to earth and so connected to what her client’s needs are. I can’t wait to use her for my well woman care- she offers in home services even!!
Wifey post: If I could give Sarah 10 stars I would. My husband and I interviewed 3-4 midwives before moving forward with Sarah for our home birth. We were looking for someone who was confident, grounded, experienced/knowledgeable, professional, and open/honest- Sarah hit every mark.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Wildflower Birth and Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife and service establishment, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Wildflower Birth and Wellness offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Wildflower Birth and Wellness. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Wildflower Birth and Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- Where does Wildflower Birth and Wellness work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Garden Grove, California — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (209) 329-3021 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
