I first met the ladies at Wisdom Within when I was interested in becoming pregnant and wanted a PAP. I wanted to be as healthy as i could and i was worried an old injury would make it difficult. I never thought I'd actually have a pleasant time at a PAP.
I had an excellent experience with Wisdom Within for all of my prenatal, home birth, and postpartum care. Elizabeth was very responsive to messages through the EMR system. My appointments in home and in clinic were very personalized and felt like a conversation with a friend than just the "business" of having a baby.
Elizabeth taught a really great childbirth education/Lamaze class and allowed me to take it with her as a prerequisite to my midwifery education. Elizabeth had a coveted apprenticeship with a midwife at the time but was always welcoming and supportive of me as a new student.
