What parents say
Words fail to express my gratitude for the experience I had with Sacred Journey Midwifery. It’s a wonderful and fortunate resource for the community to have a practice of not one but TWO well-experienced certified nurse midwives.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Zoe Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife and pregnancy care center, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Zoe Midwifery offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Zoe Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (234) 564-3943 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
