What parents say
I switched care providers 3x in my second pregnancy, with the final switch to Alma happening well into my third trimester. While I’m grateful that my first was a healthy baby who had a relatively easeful entrance into the world, I didn’t love my hospital birth experience; it wasn’t wholly me, and there was so much…
Incredible experience!! I had my first baby here in Winter 2018 and it couldn’t have been better. I switched my OB care to Alma after moving to Portland when I was 34 weeks. The transition was seamless & care was SO much better with Alma than my previous provider.
Choosing Alma was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. Giving birth to my daughter there was everything I dreamed of and so much more. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calm, safe, and deeply spiritual literally like it was made for bringing new life into the world.
My husband and I LOVED Alma! All of their staff were knowledgeable, trauma-informed, caring, and supportive. The nurse-midwives worked with me (and my providers) through all my questions and concerns of mental health care and medication during pregnancy, delivery (Summer 2024), and postpartum.

- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
