When my water broke in the middle of the night, we arrived at St. Vincent’s Southside and were immediately put at ease by how smooth and efficient triage and admitting were. Carrie and Jenna were incredible nurses who supported me through every step of labor/delivery with compassion, calm, and constant encouragement.
I had my planned c section here on 10/6 I was extremely nervous about the surgery & everything that could go wrong. My labor nurses were amazing they talked me through it & helped relieve my anxiety a lot, each person who would be in the OR came in and introduced themselves which calmed me down a lot as well.
Just had my baby boy here and the experience was amazing! My nurses and staff were so comforting and supportive being a first time mom. I’m so appreciative for all the help and support I received during our stay and they were so good to my baby as well.
I planned to have an at home birth but my baby was breech so i scheduled a c section with st Vincent’s. I was so nervous and emotional and the team here made me feel at ease and prepared for surgery. My requests were met with respect and a huge willingness to make everything work for everyone involved.
