10/10 Recommend!!! I had a late start at Breathe, not starting care there until 20 weeks. I had been going to the hospital and being a first time mom, was very overwhelmed by all the info, education, and support I wasn’t getting.
I can not thank everyone in this facility enough for all the hard work they do for us mommas, and our babies! I was hoping and praying I did not have to have another hospital birth and they did absolutely everything in their power to make sure I didn't!
My family absolutely loved our experience with Breathe. We had our healthy baby girl with Breathe in August. The team is very knowledgeable about unmedicated labor and midwifery. I always felt safe, heard, and respected while receiving care. I could not recommend Breathe enough.
This was my fourth baby. I have had two hospital births and a home birth. Birthing at Breathe really reaffirmed my love for midwifery care in pregnancy and delivery! I tore with my three previous deliveries and thought that was just going to happen no matter what at this point.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Breathe Birth and Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Breathe Birth and Wellness is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Breathe Birth and Wellness about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Breathe Birth and Wellness offer water birth?
- Water birth or birthing tubs come up in their public listing or reviews. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Breathe Birth and Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (918) 250-2229 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
