Where to find DFW Community Birth & Wellness
What parents say
I saw both Jennifer and Elizabeth during my second pregnancy. Although Jenn was our delivery midwife, they both went above and beyond to make my family and I feel comfortable and safe. They remained compassionate and understanding no matter how many times I cried or complained at each appointment!
I was blessed to have had my sweet baby girl in 2023 with Elizabeth and Jenn. My care was nothing but exceptional. From my prenatal visits with them to labor and post partum I felt loved, safe, and heard. Me and my husband were so impressed with how professional and skilled these ladies are.
I can't say thank you enough to Jenn, Elizabeth, and Anna for the care I received throughout my pregnancy and home birth!! From day one, their gentleness and expertise made me feel completely safe, seen and supported.
Jenn and Elizabeth provide such wonderful care. They have walked me through two pregnancies and hopefully will support me through a few more! They have an extensive knowledge beyond just midwifery and have a holistic approach to pregnancy and postpartum for mom and baby.
Frequently asked questions
- Is DFW Community Birth & Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- DFW Community Birth & Wellness is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask DFW Community Birth & Wellness about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does DFW Community Birth & Wellness offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does DFW Community Birth & Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (214) 699-8659 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
