I had a really great experience with Emily at East Dallas Birth. I came to Emily for my second pregnancy for many reasons, one of them being that I felt like my care with an OB during my first pregnancy was very impersonal and I also wanted to experience a more natural-minded pregnancy and birth.
We had the magical experience of going through pregnancy and birth with Emily/EDBW when our firstborn entered the world. We loved being able to do prenatal and postnatal care and also baby well checks with Emily, as no one else in town seemed to do it all.
I’ve been seeing Emily I think for almost 2 year’s now. We first met her when we wanted to do a tour and decided to do a preconception visit afterwards once we knew we wanted to go with Emily as my midwife. Emily is so incredibly sweet and has been so good to us throughout our pregnancy journey.
I highly recommend EDBW if you are considering a non-hospital birth. Emily patiently and kindly walked with me through my pregnancies, answered any questions I had, and always informed me of my options. Both of my birthing experiences with her at the birth center were so perfect.
