What parents say
GBC is incredible! I have had 4 children, 3 unmedicated births, but only one birth at GBC and it was hands down my best prenatal care and birth experience. Kailee is the most friendly and sweet face to greet you at every visit.
Our experience with Grapevine Birthing Center was nothing short of incredible. As first-time parents, there were so many unknowns — especially for my wife stepping into motherhood for the first time.
I had the most incredible and beautiful birth of my 4th baby at Grapevine Birthing center. Raven and Ashley became like family and on the day of my son’s birth were more than I ever expected. There was such peace in our birthing room.
I’m so incredibly great to have found GBC! I delivered my 1st baby boy with Raven and Ashley in October, and could not imagine doing it any other way! As a first time mom, I did not know what to except, or where to begin with birth options.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Grapevine Birthing Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Grapevine Birthing Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Grapevine Birthing Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Grapevine Birthing Center offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Grapevine Birthing Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (817) 421-6928 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
