Where to find Heartbeat Midwifery
What parents say
As a pregnant midwife, I got so many half-joking comments along the lines of, “It must be convenient to already know all the things” and “Are you going to deliver your own baby?
Our experience with Heartbeat Midwifery was absolutely wonderful! I 100% recommend them (and I have!) to anyone looking for a more personal and natural birth experience. From our first look at our son at the very beginning to his birth, we felt so cared for, informed, and supported.
This place has been great for our family! Heartbeat helped our family grow with care that these midwives provided my wife. They let her lead the plan of her births and assisted in many ways through the process. We definitely will continue to use there services and love being apart of the Heartbeat Family!
I first experienced Heartbeat when I was 9 week into my first pregnancy and took a tour of the center. I could say so many positive things about my experience but I'll attempt to share the top most impactful aspects of this birthing center.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Heartbeat Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Heartbeat Midwifery is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Heartbeat Midwifery about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Heartbeat Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Heartbeat Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Heartbeat Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (806) 642-7326 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
