Where to find Intermountain Health Birth Center of Denver
What parents say
I cannot say enough about my experience here. As a nurse and only really ever knowledgeable of the hospital birthing system, I was a little wary at first. I asked a lot of nervous questions, and wasn’t always sure of my decision to go with the Birth Center of Denver…until I delivered here!
I wanna personally thank Bridget, Natalie, and Amy, the midwives who were with me during my labor. I had an hard but amazing birth experience there at the birth center. My labor was almost 30 hours long and they were with me through it all helping me with different positions to help me progress.
I don't quite have the words to describe how special this place is to myself and my family. From the first moment I walked into The Birth Center I felt completely welcomed and supported. The second time I went to The Birth Center everyone remembered my name! You don't find that at a regular OB/GYN practice these days.
Pros: -Great midwives and nurses, excellent prenatal care. I got much more time at my appointments than I would have with an OBGYN, and my questions were always answered. The providers get to know you and show a lot of care -Beautiful, clean and well-equipped birth suites Cons: -The admin & communication wasn't great.
