Jamie was my doula for the birth of my daughter in June 2023. As a first time mom, I was extremely nervous about giving birth when I first got pregnant and I wanted to prepare as much as possible. Jamie was an amazing resource throughout my entire pregnancy and made a huge difference for the actual labor & delivery.
Jamie was the perfect doula choice for our family and bringing our first kid into the world. As a skeptical but supportive husband I didn’t understand the importance or added value of a doula when my wife mentioned her. However after meeting jamie and having our first sit down, I knew she was perfect.
We met Jamie in 2022 prior to the birth of my first child. She was instantly a calming force and we are so happy we chose her as our birth doula! Labor progressed quite quickly and she came to our home for a brief time before we headed to the hospital.
I want to be Jamie when I grow up! She is calm, steady, kind and confident. Jamie delivered my nephew who had shoulder dystocia and needed a few rescue breaths after delivery due to shock from being stuck. Jamie knew exactly how to resolve the sticky shoulder and gently guide my nephew safely earth-side.
