Jamie was my doula for the birth of my daughter in June 2023. As a first time mom, I was extremely nervous about giving birth when I first got pregnant and I wanted to prepare as much as possible. Jamie was an amazing resource throughout my entire pregnancy and made a huge difference for the actual labor & delivery.
Jamie was the perfect doula choice for our family and bringing our first kid into the world. As a skeptical but supportive husband I didn’t understand the importance or added value of a doula when my wife mentioned her. However after meeting jamie and having our first sit down, I knew she was perfect.
We met Jamie in 2022 prior to the birth of my first child. She was instantly a calming force and we are so happy we chose her as our birth doula! Labor progressed quite quickly and she came to our home for a brief time before we headed to the hospital.
Jamie was at my birth while training to be a midwife on her own. She was so calm, cool, and collected. The best word to describe was that she was so chilled, and she brought that energy to my birth. She is going to be an amazing practioner in her own right!
