What parents say
Words can't even express how grateful I am to Asasiya and my entire birth team. I heard about Asasiya and Inner Circle Midwifery a little over 3 years ago when I read an article about her in The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Exactly 1 month ago I welcomed my baby girl earth-side in the comfort of my home with the assistance of Asasiya, TiTi (second midwife), and Paloma (doula). My husband and I decided to transition care to Asasiya as a result of the quality of care due to COVID-19.
We are so blessed and grateful that we were able to have Asasiya as our midwife for our first home birth. It was important to me to find a midwife that would be able to understand my needs and experience as a Black woman and Asasiya was the perfect fit for our family.
Words can’t express the gratitude felt by myself and my family for what Asasiya has done for our family. We recently welcomed our third daughter and the second of whom was ushered into this world by Asasiya. She’s very intentional and professional. With both births I felt cared for, protected, and most of all safe.
