Where to find Lunar Midwifery
What parents say
If you’re considering using a midwife for your pregnancy & birth I don’t think you could find a better health care professional than Amber at Lunar Midwifery. She made sure all my questions were answered, that I had the information I needed to make informed decisions, and gave me a hand to hold through all the hard…
The absolute best experience I had. She was so helpful to me & my family that moved to Texas when I was 36 weeks pregnant. She took me on and treated me like family. I ended having to transfer and she road with me, stayed and advocated for me!
Impeccable and unrivaled care during both of my pregnancies. Amber has the ability to listen, empathize and love like no other midwife I know. I always felt safe and cared for when under her care. She made my husband feel safe and secure during the labor and delivery process as well.
I’ve been with Amber for all 4 of my pregnancies! What I love most about Amber is how reliable and friendly she is. She is always on time, she always communicates (quickly), she always seems to be having a good day! I love that she maintains her professionalism while also being personable.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Lunar Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Lunar Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Lunar Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Lunar Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (210) 315-4117 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
