What parents say
I can't recommend Nita highly enough! When my husband and I decided to pursue an unmedicated out of hospital birth, our midwives strongly suggested we take a birth boot camp class to help prepare for childbirth.
When we enrolled for this class, my husband and I didn't really know what to expect. We were looking for an in-person birthing class to get some hands on experience. This class proved to be amazing, and completely worth every penny!
Nita was amazing!!!!! My husband and I learned so much and the information that we were able to present to our doctor made him respect us more. Even if this is your second or third child I recommend this class because there are so many things that women and men are misinformed about or they don’t know any other…
Nita did an amazing job of preparing my husband and I for the birth of our first child! My labor was a quick and intense 4 hours and my midwife came just 40 minutes before our son was born.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Metroplex Birth a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Metroplex Birth is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Metroplex Birth about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Metroplex Birth offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Metroplex Birth. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Metroplex Birth accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 682-514-9150 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
