Where to find Midvalley Birthing Services
What parents say
I moved to Salem recently and just had my #4 baby with the midwives at Midvalley Birthing Services. My other 3 were born in the hospital in a different city. I wanted to do something different this time around but I didn't know what.
I am beyond grateful to the amazing women who work here! I had the most incredible team possible and was able to achieve a VBAC thanks to these strong & knowledgeable women! Liz and Julia are absolutely remarkable, I am so happy they were my midwives! Hannah and Amy were unbelievably helpful!!
I live in Newport and had all 3 of my babies at home with Midvalley and they were Incredible. I have recommended so many of my friends to them and they have all had a great experience with them also. There birthing center is amazing and all of the midwives are wonderful.
These are the best midwives ever. They are kind, caring, and good at what they do. My whole family absolutely loved Liz, Julia, and Zilli.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Midvalley Birthing Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Midvalley Birthing Services offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Midvalley Birthing Services. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Midvalley Birthing Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 541-928-1002 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
