Where Nascence Midwifery works
What parents say
The midwife I didn’t know we needed! Brittney is very straight forward and she will tell you how it is but in kind and respectful manner ( Something that I need because I have a lot fear and she worked through those fears with me.) She is kinda, funny and super sweet. She listens well and takes her time with you.
It is almost indescribable the positive, loving impact that Brittney has made on my life, my husband’s life, and the lives of our two daughters. Brittney was present through each of my pregnancies and my daughters’ births.
I’ve had the honor of having Brittney be apart of 4 of my pregnancies and 3 of my births so far! She has been an invaluable part of my care. She is so down to earth and always makes me feel better when I’m feeling down. She brings peace to your birth space and makes you feel completely capable to do anything!
Brittney is an amazing, caring, and skilled midwife. She feels like family. She listens, and validates every thought and feeling, and TRULY respects autonomy and informed consent. Our kids love her too and the way she involved them in our prenatal appointments, helping to check on baby sister.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Nascence Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife and service establishment, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Nascence Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Nascence Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Nascence Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- Where does Nascence Midwifery work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Denton, Texas — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Reach out through their website — use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
