As an African American woman the topic of child birth is totally frightening within itself. After seeing a Dr. for a previous pregnancy and experiencing their cold robotic attitude I knew that I wanted a midwife instead and I’m happy I came across Full Circle.
I am beyond grateful to have chosen this practice! For my second pregnancy, I really wanted to have a VBAC after my first birth resulted in an emergency C-section. I learned that Phelps Hospital is very supportive of VBACs and has a low C-section rate.
The midwives came highly recommended by my birth doula, as they deliver at Phelps Hospital. After being disappointed by my previous two providers, I made the decision to switch to the midwives at 30 weeks pregnant and I'm SO glad! They were more attentive and caring than any obgyn I've ever visited.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about the whole team at Harrison Midwifery and I am so glad I found them during my pregnancy after switching from an OBGYN.
