What parents say
If only I had known of the PWC at any point in the past ten months, I would have opted for my prenatal care and possibly a home birth, with one of the midwives here. Just had my 6-week post partum visit there. This is the epitome of what care looks like...and is exactly what I've been searching for.
I made the switch to Philadelphia Midwife Collective when I was about 17 weeks pregnant because I didn’t want to be just another number in a huge system that is Penn. Not knowing who my caregiver would be when the time came to deliver left me feeling unsettled.
I have had 2 successful homebirths with the midwives at PMC and I adore the team with my whole heart! They gave me the confidence I needed to have my first home birth back in 2022.
I cannot recommend PMC highly enough. My husband and I are grateful everyday we chose this practice. I had a complicated and scary pregnancy and birth and required a premature induction that came out of no where. The level of personalized and human care blew me away.
