What parents say
After having a hospital birth with my first I wanted to either do a home birth or birthing center with my second pregnancy. I first started my care at a hospital but at 28 weeks decided to switch to Spokane River. This was the best decision I could have ever made.
Miri is spectacular. She's sharp, knowledgeable, and caring. Everything we wanted in a midwife. I genuinely believe she saved my wife from serious interventions or emergency c sections on two occasions, because she was paying attention to the babies position.
Miri was so wonderful to my family and I, this was my second pregnancy and with my first I had a not so great experience with the hospital so when I found Spokane River Midwife’s and went in and met with her I just knew that is where I wanted to have my baby.
We had our 3rd baby with Spokane River Midwives 2.5 years ago under previous management, which resulted in a beautiful home birth with lots of educational conversations and care during the 9 months leading up to that.
