Where to find Strong Beginnings Maternity Services
What parents say
I was skeptical at first but it couldn't have been better. Our 2 boys were born at Rochester General & for this one her doctors office switched from General to Strong Hospital. We were just used to General I guess.
Where do I even start? From beginning to end the nurses and doctors were amazing! The communication was unprecedented and the care was extremely wonderful. I had a very difficult labor that ended with an unscheduled but non-emergent c-section, the pain I felt before that was unbearable.
This was my first pregnancy and I was here quite a few times because of different health concerns and every single time, the staff was absolutely amazing to me and never made me feel like a burden or unreasonable for coming in.
The Birthing Center staff is great. Incredibly thorough, compassionate and professional. They always make my wife feel comfortable and relaxed (as much as one can be during labor). We've had three babies here. - Tim and Missy Daily Vlogs (YouTube)
Frequently asked questions
- Is Strong Beginnings Maternity Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Strong Beginnings Maternity Services is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Strong Beginnings Maternity Services about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Strong Beginnings Maternity Services offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Strong Beginnings Maternity Services. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Strong Beginnings Maternity Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (585) 275-4058 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
