Where to find University of Rochester Medicine Midwifery
What parents say
Have had nothing but great experiences. Have been a patient since my 2nd born in 2010! The practice became my staple and safe space especially with baby #4, when Dr Tracy came to the practice.
URMC Midwives came highly recommended by many people who had a successful VBAC, so I switched to the Midwives midpregnancy. They were so supportive! They were very transparent, eager to share resources and connect me with necessary referrals, and always kind and welcoming.
I came to the midwives in 2018 with a history of 2 csections. I was pregnant with my 3rd and had been told by my OB that unless i came to the hospital with the baby crowning i would be having a csection for this baby as well. I did not accept that, did my research and found the midwives.
I absolutely LOVE the midwives here. Barb at the front desk is wonderful and sweet, and even tho I was a little disappointed at first that I wasn't going to just have one midwife, it totally makes sense how they do it, rotating you with different midwives.
