What parents say
So this is a split review of the L&D Unit and the Mother/Baby Unit. L&D: Outstanding experience! 5 Stars and would recommend. We had 3 nurses that were top tier: Emily, Makayla, and Zoe. They made sure my wife was completely taken care of her entire time in that unit.
I want to write a review based on my experience because I read a lot of the most recent ones before my stay and it made me nervous. I won't discount others experiences and realize you can't pick your specific nurses and that can make a big difference. My experience was overall very positive.
I want to start off by saying, if you are locally near DUKE REGIONAL HOSPITAL and you are pregnant, I highly advice you come here! It is the most amazing environment to have your little one in. My girlfriend and I are new parents with an almost 2 week old baby. We decided to go to Duke Regional for labor and delivery.
This review is a little delayed as our baby girl is 3 weeks old but still wanted to take a moment and express our gratitude for the staff at Duke Regional labor and delivery unit. We arrived at Duke for induction and were given a warm welcome by the many women sitting at the front of L&D.
