Where to find The Bridge Birth Center
What parents say
I had my both of my children with the bridge birth team. I wholeheartedly recommend them to all my friends who are wanting to choose an unmediated experience. Both of my experiences were very different and I felt supported through both.
I am a second time mom that got to experience the most wonderful l&d after a very traumatizing experience. With my first pregnancy I was seeing an ob- gyn through my insurance.
Bridge birth has become a home away from home and the midwives have become a second family. After two births with Lynette and her midwives, I can confidently say they are as good as it gets! I had two very different birth experiences each time: one was quick and smooth, the other was long and hard.
I was supposed to have my second baby here but he decided to come early. Lynette has put together a wonderful team of Midwives! Jannae & Jaida were my ladies who cared for me including Lynette! My husband even said he didn’t ever feel stressed in their presence like you would at a hospital!
Frequently asked questions
- Is The Bridge Birth Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- The Bridge Birth Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask The Bridge Birth Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does The Bridge Birth Center offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does The Bridge Birth Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (360) 693-6875 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
