Christy Cannon is an absolute Angel on earth. I came to Christy at around 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby, after very disappointing appointments with my previous OBGYN, who was discouraging of me wanting to attempt a VBAC after my first pregnancy resulted in a C-section due to “failure to progress”.
After having my first child in a hospital, I knew I wanted a more natural and connected experience for my second birth—one that honored my body and intuition. Working with Christy as my midwife was the most empowering and beautiful journey I could have asked for.
I feel like I hit the jackpot finding Christy Cannon. I started working with her around the middle of my pregnancy, and pretty quickly realized I was in very good hands.
Christy Cannon, CNM, is so sweet and knowledgeable. She blends her personal experience as a mom, NICU nurse with her training as a certified nurse midwife. While there are experienced licensed midwives in the area, she is the only CNM (which takes into consideration of the nursing and medical models) with privileges…
