Where to find P U S H
What parents say
I am such a huge fan of Robyn. When my husband and I interviewed midwifes, we both knew immediately that she was the one we wanted. In the interview, she was professional and straightforward, while remaining kind and understanding.
Robyn exceeded all of our expectations throughout my entire pregnancy. This was my second child, and I can’t even begin to explain how much better the experience was this time with Robyn, verses my first child who was delivered in the hospital. The hospital delivery gave me anxiety about having another child.
Choosing Robyn for my midwife was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! It was my fourth pregnancy, my third VBAC, and I was really wanting an unmedicated, out-of-hospital birth. After my 3 experiences with OBGYNs and the medical system in general, I was so grateful & fortunate to have found Robyn.
With all the precautions the hospitals are taking because of COVID, I wouldn’t have been able to have the support team I did with me. Robyn not only offered me the ability to have my support team but she was also an amazing support herself. She made my birthing experience one that I will cherish forever.
Frequently asked questions
- Is P U S H a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- P U S H is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask P U S H about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does P U S H offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for P U S H. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does P U S H accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (805) 494-1333 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
