Where to find The Mother Baby Center at Abbott Northwestern and Children’s Minnesota
What parents say
Delivered my baby in early January via medically necessary induction that ended in an uncomplicated vaginal delivery 18 hours later. I worked with the CNM team at Allina and my midwife(s) were responsive, knowledgeable, and made me feel so heard and cared for during the whole process.
There are a ton of stories about care going wrong for women (especially women of color) in medicine. For me, the Mother Baby Center at Abbott has only been stories going right. I've had three babies here and all were incredibly different experiences. The last one was exceptional when it came to patient care.
Recently delivered our 2nd child here and upon arrival to triage all the way through postpartum care until we discharged was phenomenal care. Absolutely amazing team of nurses with wonderful bedside care and team work.
Delivered my baby here on December 28th 2024. I had Laurie as my nurse, I was her only patient that night and it really showed. She was there for me through the entire process.
