What parents say
I can’t describe how thankful i am to have had Vonda & Kiana as my doulas🩵 They were always there for me, answering every question and concern I had and responding to my messages super quick. Most importantly, they helped and supported me through my first and all natural birth, every step of the way!
I am so beyond happy with my decision to have Kiana and Vonda as my doulas for my first baby! They were so supportive and responsive leading up to my birth, there to answer and address any questions or concerns I had. Kiana attended my birth and was such an important part of my birth experience.
Vonda added so much peace and reassurance throughout both of my pregnancies and was there every step of the way. She explained in detail all options and possibilities for when we were presented with an unexpected induction. We had a new plan and she again supported every angle of it.
No words (but of course - I’ll find them) but this was such an otherworldly experience. I couldn’t have done this without the love, care and attention of Kiana and my midwife, Victoria Gordon. The synergy was balanced, calm and patient.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Asherah Birth a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Asherah Birth is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Asherah Birth about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Asherah Birth offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Asherah Birth. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Asherah Birth accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (904) 568-5564 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
