What parents say
I just absolutely love Andrea and Maggie. Their support was incredible from start to finish, and their attention to detail made me feel truly cared for. I always looked forward to visits—their office felt more like a comfortable hangout than a clinic. I trusted their advice throughout my entire pregnancy and labor.
If you're looking for the best midwives out there, Andrea and Maggie are it! These two provide truly wholistic care from the 1st day you meet them! They are incredibly knowledgeable, caring, supportive, and funny too! By the end of our journey together, they really felt like family!
There are no words great enough to describe these two women. They are honest, reliable, knowledgeable, current, stable, loving and soooo real about all things pregnancy, birth, postpartum, parenthood, familym and just all the things. Something so special about them is that they compliment one another so well.
Maggie and Andrea helped deliver our beautiful baby girl this past Fall. To say they are an all-star team is an understatement. They are the most competent and able team of midwives I have come across (we interviewed many).
Frequently asked questions
- Is Wholistic Birth and Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Wholistic Birth and Wellness is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Wholistic Birth and Wellness about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Wholistic Birth and Wellness offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Wholistic Birth and Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (661) 347-8342 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
